Boxing Day is a holiday celebrated the day after Christmas Day. It originated in the United Kingdom, and is celebrated in a number of countries that previously formed part of the British Empire. Boxing Day is on 26 December, although the attached bank holiday or public holiday may take place either on that day or a day later.

In the liturgical calendar of Western Christianity, Boxing Day is the second day of Christmastide, and also St. Stephen's Day. In some European countries, notably Germany, Poland, Belgium, the Netherlands and the Nordic countries, 26 December is celebrated as a Second Christmas Day.

"The Princess and the Pea" (Danish: "Prinsessen paa Ærten"; literal translation: "The Princess on the Pea") is a literary fairy tale by Hans Christian Andersen about a young woman whose royal identity is established by a test of her physical sensitivity. The tale was first published with three others by Andersen in an inexpensive booklet on 8 May 1835 in Copenhagen by C. A. Reitzel.
Andersen had heard the story as a child, and it likely has its source in folk material, possibly originating from Sweden, as it is unknown in the Danish oral tradition. Neither "The Princess and the Pea" nor Andersen's other tales of 1835 were well received by Danish critics, who disliked their casual, chatty style and their lack of morals.
In 1959 "The Princess and the Pea" was adapted to the musical stage in a production called Once Upon a Mattress starring Carol Burnett.

Part of Your World(Song of The Little Mermaid)

(spoken)
Maybe he's right.
Maybe there is something the matter with me.
I just don't see how a world that,
That makes such wonderful things...could be bad.

(sung)
Look at this stuff. Isn't it neat?
Wouldn't you think my collection's complete?
Wouldn't you think I'm the girl
The girl who has everything?

Look at this trove, treasures untold
How many wonders can one cavern hold?
Looking around here, you'd think
Sure, she's got everything

I've got gadgets and gizmos a-plenty
I've got who's-its and what's-its galore
You want thing-a-ma-bobs?
I've got twenty
But who cares? No big deal
I want more

I wanna be where the people are
I wanna see, wanna see them dancing
Walking around on those
What do you call them? Oh, feet

Flipping your fins, you don't get too far
Legs are required for jumping, dancing
Strolling along down the
What's that word again? Street

Up where they walk, up where they run
Up where they stay all day in the sun
Wondering free, wish I could be
Part of that world

What would I give if I could live
Out of these waters
What would I pay to spend a day
Warm on the sand

Betcha on land they understand
Bet they don't reprimand their daughters
Bright young women sick of swimming
Ready to stand

And ready to know what the people know
Ask them my questions, and get some answers
What's a fire?—and why does it
What's that word? Burn?

When's it my turn?
Wouldn't I love, love to explore
That shore up above, out of the sea
Wish I could be
Part of that world
